IXCHEL is a bridge, between ancient ceremonial practice and contemporary understandings of psychology, neuroscience, and somatic care.
We have systems to tend the body and the mind. There are few that responsibly hold the spiritual dimension of healing.
IXCHEL exists to be one. A modern container for that work, where ancient ceremonial practice is braided with contemporary understandings of psychology, neuroscience, and somatic care.
The name is taken from the Mayan goddess of medicine, the moon, and childbirth. It is offered here as a promise, that the work will be held with the reverence it asks for.
The medicines and practices carried here are older than any of us. They are met with the humility and care their lineages ask for.
Preparation, ceremony, and integration are held as one continuous arc, supported by careful medical and psychological screening.
A portion of every offering received returns to the lineages and villages that made this work possible.
To learn who carries this work, and the lineages it stands inside.
