The work is held by those it has held.

Sliding-scale care, ceremonial supplies, and the slow time required for deep work are sustained, in part, by gifts from those who have walked through these rooms — and from those who believe such rooms should remain open.

⟡ Reciprocity

The medicine has a homeland.

The plants, songs, and lineages we work with did not originate here. IXCHEL Spiritual Clinic has a special relationship with lineage holders and elders all around the world. Reciprocity is not a gesture; it is a structural obligation of this work.

In particular, IXCHEL has a strong relationship with the ancestral Bwiti people of the Gabonese forest. A portion of every offering received here flows directly to Bwiti Roots, a registered NGO preserving and protecting ancestral Gabonese Bwiti culture. We collaborate actively with the village of Ntann — supporting infrastructure, cultural preservation, and the daily life of the community that stewards this lineage at its source.

What is given here is held there. What is held there returns, in time, to all who sit with this work.
