That’s completely natural. We are here to meet you exactly where you are and to guide you with plenty of preparation, grounding tools and relational support. Rest assured that you’ll be fully held throughout the entire process, and you don’t need prior natural medicine experience, only openness, courage and curiosity. Deep breaths always!

Absolutely. Many expeditions are even more powerful when shared with a trusted loved one. We offer couples and small-group ceremonies that support mutual healing, deeper connection, and shared growth—especially when marking milestones like anniversaries, birthdays, or life transitions. That being said, some natural medicines are better suited for individual journeying while others are more appropriate for shared experiences. 

Please note that everyone joining must be formally vetted before starting.

Yes. Many of our offerings (especially for corporate teams or those new to this work) can be provided without sitting with natural medicines. Our signature method integrates breathwork, meditation, Reiki, visualizations, affirmations, storytelling devices, and other embodied practices to support clarity, creativity, and presence. We believe that everything can be medicine!

Both pre-ceremonial preparation and post-ceremony integration support can be offered virtually. However, the ceremonies themselves must be conducted in-person under IXCHEL supervision. Our team is willing to travel upon request in order to accompany you at your current location.
